This minicourse presupposes basic knowledge about descriptive statistics and inferential tests (t-tests and correlations). After dealing with the fundamental operations in R, participants will be exposed to one statistical test at a time with its commonly associated graph. All data sets used and examples given will be of linguistic nature. Participants need to bring a notebook and install the R software (https://www.r-project.org/). Further instructions about how to install the program will be provided to the participants who register for the course.
